    (枇杷柴、红沙、红虱、海葫芦根)
     形态特征:柽柳科琵琶柴属小灌木植物，高l0-25厘米。老枝灰棕由  叶肉质，圆柱形，长部稍粗，长1-5毫米，宽1毫米，顶端钝，常4-6枚簇生。5-6月开花，花单生叶腋或为少花的穗状花序，无梗，直径4毫米;萼钟形，质厚，5裂，下半部合生;花瓣5,张开，白色略带淡红，长圆形，长3-4.5毫米，近中部有2个倒披针形附属物。蒴果纺锤形。
    生境分布:生于海拔1000-3200米的山间盆地、湖岸盐碱地、戈壁、砂砾山坡，荒漠植物，常成片生长。分布于陕西、甘肃、青海、新疆、内蒙古和东北地区。蒙古和俄罗斯也有。
