猕猴桃科 Actinidiaceae 双子叶植物纲五桠果亚纲的一科。多为攀援木本,通常被毛。单叶,互生,无毛或被糙伏毛、星状毛或具鳞片 ,具羽状脉,边缘具锯齿。花两性,杂性或雌雄异株,辐射对称,成束或呈圆锥花序、聚伞花序 ,稀单生。萼片 5 ,稀较少 ,宿存;花瓣5,有时4或6 ,分离或基部合生成一短管 ;雄蕊多数至10,分离子房上位,3~5室至多室,每室具胚珠10或多数。果为浆果或蒴果,肉质或干燥。有4属380种,主要分布在亚洲热带至大洋洲北部以及美洲热带。中国 4 属均产 ,有96种,主要分布于长江流域及以南各省区,其中藤山柳属为中国特有,主产四川。
该科大多数种的果实可食,如猕猴桃,就是由中国特产的中华猕猴桃培育而成,果实中含有丰富的维生素 C和糖类,每100克中维生素C的含量高达 300毫克,比柑橘还要高,可作维生素的原料;含糖总量为9.0%~10.2% 。有些种的根、藤和叶入药,有清热利尿、散瘀止血的作用;茎皮及髓含胶质,可作造纸胶料;花芳香,可提取香料。 |
