With a local variety from Town Qingshan, Lipu County, as the control, virus-eliminated plants from tissue culture of the tip buds of corms(H1) and those of their second(H2) and third (H3) generations of Lipu taro(Colocasia esculenta Schoff) were used as the plant materials in this experiment.
本试验选用荔浦县青山镇常规荔浦芋球茎作对照，以优良荔浦芋的母芽和子芽的顶芽为外植体培养出来的脱病毒组培苗(H_1)及其后代H_2和H_3为供试种源，在其自然生长情况下观察不同种源的生长发育特性并分析相关生理指标。

荔浦芋头
芋头里最好吃的数荔浦芋，荔浦芋产于桂林地区的荔浦县。它个头大，营养丰富。把它切成薄片，油炸后夹在猪肉力做成“红烧扣肉”，风味特殊，肉不腻口，是宴会上的一道美肴。将它煮熟剥皮，放在热锅中，加上猪油、白糖、少量奶粉，压成奶芋，味道甘香软甜；掺和鱼、肉、鸡、冬笋、香菇等，有油轻炸，香酥爽口。
荔浦芋作为广西的首选贡品在岁末进贡皇家大典。尤其是在清朝乾隆年间达到了极盛。近年随着电视剧《宰相刘锣锅》的播出，荔浦芋头更是在全国家喻户晓。
