荔枝 Litchi chinensis;lichee 无患子科荔枝属常绿乔木。原产中国。分布于北纬20°~28°热带和亚热带地区。作经济作物栽培的国家有美国、印度、南非、泰国、马达加斯加、菲律宾、越南、毛里求斯、澳大利亚、巴基斯坦和斯里兰卡等。中国主要产区有广东、福建、台湾、广西、四川、云南、贵州,浙江也有少量栽培。树高约20米。根系强大,须根上有菌根真菌共生。羽状复叶互生或对生,革质绿色。圆锥花序顶生,花小,杂性。核果状果实圆、卵圆或心脏形,外果皮革质具瘤状突起。种子椭圆形,褐赤色有光泽。果实营养丰富,分早、中、晚熟3类,以糯米糍、桂味、妃子笑和香荔最为名贵。生长适温23~25℃。用高枝压条或高接法繁殖。幼苗带土定植。配置5%~10%的授粉树,以提高座果率。主要病虫害有疫霉病、炭疽病和荔枝蝽、爻纹细蛾等。荔枝可鲜食,制荔枝干和果汁,可罐藏和酿酒;果壳可提取单宁;根可入药。并是良好的蜜源作物。
