闻名中外的千山弥勒大佛被誉为自然遗产,世界奇观。大佛位于千山著名古 庙“南泉庵”对面的山峰上,佛身高70米,肩宽46米,头高9．9米，头宽11.8米,耳长4．8米,五 官清晰、四肢俱全。
大佛坐东面西,胸前还隐约挂有佛珠,身上有天然山洞形成的佛脐,为中国三大巨佛之一.每年的6月6日，为“千山大佛节”，届时将举行隆重的佛事活动。
