并 ①枢纽机关。《灵枢·忧恚无言》：“悬壅垂者，音声之关也。” ②关联。《素问·咳论》：“此皆聚于胃，关于肺。” ③病证名。小便不通。 ④病理名。阴气过盛，阳气不能朝营。《灵枢·脉度》：“阴气太盛，则阳气不能荣也，故曰关。” ⑤关脉之简称。详寸关尺条。 ⑥解剖部位名。所指部位有多种情况。例如：指切脉部位者，《濒湖脉学》：“掌后高骨，是谓之关。关前为阳，关后为阴。”又如指腕关节、踝关节者，《骨释》：“手、足腕两端骨，亦通曰关。”《骨释》还称人体之诸大关节为关者，指出“凡肘、腋、髀、腘两端相接骨，通曰机关，亦曰关。”又如喉科传统习惯称咽峡为关，其咽腭弓之后，称关内；舌腭弓之外，称关外。还有：承扶穴亦名关。《素问·骨空论》：“辅上为腘，腘上为关。”可见关在人体是一同名而多部位之解剖名。
