眼子菜科 Potamogetonaceae 单子叶植物纲泽泻亚纲的一科。沉没或漂浮于淡水中的多年生草本,常有匍匐的茎或根茎,单轴或合轴型,以不定根着生于泥土中,分枝直立上升水中。叶带状,互生,1/2叶序。基部具鞘,鞘内有小鳞片。穗状花序,顶生,具花轴,花两性,整齐,花被片4,分离,圆形,具短爪,雄蕊4,心皮4,子房上位,各有一弯生胚珠。果实为1~4个的小形核果或瘦果。有2属,其中眼子菜属有100种,广布于世界各地。另一属仅1种,见于欧洲西部、非洲北部、亚洲西南部,也可归入眼子菜属。 眼子菜中医学上用于清热解毒,繁生于稻田中时,有害禾谷。过去归入眼子菜科的川蔓藻属,角果藻属,大叶藻属,虾海藻属等,现均独立成川蔓藻科、角果藻科、大叶藻科,虾海藻属归入大叶藻科。 |
