性质:以氢为燃料(负极),氧为氧化剂(正极)的基本型燃料电池。放电时的电化学反应如下: 酸性电解液中正极     1/2O2+2H3O++2e—=2H2O负极     H2+2H2O-2e—=2H3O+碱性电解液中正极     1/2O2+ H2O+2e—=2OH—负极      H2+2OH—-2e—=2H2O不论酸性或碱性电解液,电池反应是同样的:1/2O2+H2=H2O直接用氢作燃料的燃料电池,有酸性电解液的离子交换膜燃料电池和碱性电解液的培根型燃料电池,已成功地用作宇航电源,成本较高。为适于民用,常把其他燃料通过“重整”产生氢,再用于电池本体,如磷酸型燃料电池等。
