    中国武术器械。古称椎,有长柄单锤,短柄双锤和练子锤等。锤形似瓜,故又称立瓜、卧瓜,也有四方八楞等形,古代称持锤者为金瓜武士。短柄双锤非常沉重,舞练者需要较大的力量。在战斗中用锤硬砸、硬架,很有威力。用法有涮、曳、挂、砸、擂、冲、云、盖等。练子锤,近年来多用绳子缚铁锤,练法与绳镖相似,是吸收软鞭的动作演进而成的。
