力比多(libido)亦称，’欲力”、，’性力”、“心力”，精神分析术语。(l)弗洛伊德1905年在《性学三论》一书中首次提出，指一种与性本能有联系的潜在能量。他把性欲与自我保存本能做了对比，并用力比多一词开始指性欲或性冲动，后扩展为一种机体生存、寻求快乐和逃避痛苦的本能欲望，是一种与死的本能相反的生的本能的动机力量，包括各种形式的爱欲及其派生物。各种神经症就是力比多错误导向或不适当控制的结果。(2)荣格分析心理学从更广泛的意义上使用这一概念，认为力比多是一种普遍的生命力，类似于柏格森(Bergson，H.)的活力。在力比多中，性力只是其中的一部分，除了表现于生长和生殖外，还表现于其他活动。其实，荣格的力比多既包括弗洛伊德的性能量，也包括阿德勒的向上驱力，可以说包括所有动机。 (王丽撰牟丈博审)
