在顺溪街头两边。由两块巨岩相连,枕流平卧,长约2o米,两侧各有洞穴穿腹而过,洞口如瓮口,呈圆形,枯水时,游人伛着身子,可蛇行而入。洞内石壁如鱼鳞状,洞底未见沙砾堆积。不经意就不易发现其洞,宛如潜龙,故称龙湫洞。
