性质:黄暗色链霉菌Strep-tomyes xanthophaeus产生的多组分混合物,属异黄酮类化合物,在酸性、中性条件下都是半乳糖苷酶的特异性抑制剂。各组分抑制能力各异,ID50:组分II10μml,组分III-2为3.6μg?ml,组分III-3为1.2μg/ml,都是竞争性抑制剂。组分III-2的熔点为140℃,旋光度-164°(c=1.0,甲醇),紫外吸收光谱231,262nm(pH 7.0,甲醇)。2,4-二硝基苯肼反应阳性,茚三酮、埃利氏、坂口反应阴性。组分II、III-2和IV-2能抑制从牛、猪器官和大鼠肾脏制备的β-半乳糖苷酶和β-岩藻糖苷酶。
