Objective To assess the immediate and short-term effect and complications of transcatheter closure of patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) using the homemade nitinol occluder (HNO) device.

The experiments demonstrated: the TerraCare material can substitute peatbased casing for mushroom culture casing, and mushroom yield and cleanness from TerraCare casing were not significantly affected by lime source or rate.
