巴马高中简史 巴马是革命老区，是世界长寿之乡，坐落在巴马县城西北独狮山脚下的巴马一中是一所富有革命光荣传统的学校。 巴马一中创办于一九三八年十月，当时名为“万岗中学”，一九五六年，巴马瑶族自治县成立，学校更名为“巴马中学”，一九七八年，又改名为“巴马瑶族自治县第一中学”，简称“巴马一中”。六十年代来，学校吸引了来自壮乡瑶寨的莘莘学子，已向社会各界输送了近两万名学子，他们完成学业后，有的直接服务于巴马各行各业，有的走出大山到外地继续深造后，成为祖国各条战线的业务骨干和领导者。回顾办学历史，我们可以自豪地说，巴马一中自创办之日起，她就坚持走教书育人，为社会造就人才的道路，树立为山区政治、经济、文化发展服务的大旗。 巴马一中占地面积165亩，育人环境幽静宜人，学校规模不断发展壮大，教学设备日趋完善。现有教学楼三幢34间教室，图书馆一幢（藏书3万余册），学生宿舍楼一幢，拥有三百米跑道田径场一块和多个篮球、排球场等体育活动场所。另有综合楼一幢，内设有50台586电脑的微机室、语音室、物理实验室、化学实验室等一系列现代化教学设备。学校现有30个班，学生2000人，集初高中于一体的高完中，全校教职工125人，其中专职教师89人，高级教师16人。今天的巴马一中可谓教学设备齐全，师资力量雄厚，好已成为培养瑶山建设人才的圣地。 改革开放以来，学校师资力量日趋雄厚，有3人先后被评为特级教师，教学方法日渐科学，管理手段逐日规范。多年来，学校大胆改革，勇于创新，努力培养“四有”新人，成绩显著。1985年以来，有50多人次在学科竞赛中获省、地区级奖励，学校获国家级荣誉称号5项次，荣获自治区、地区级等荣誉称号多达115项次。 为迎接新的挑战，今日巴马一中，正以邓小平理论为指导，在党校党支部、行政班子的领导下，全面贯彻党的教育方针，科研兴教，全面实施素质教育，大力推进教育教学改革，努力创办一流的学校。一九八五年学校确立了“严谨、守纪、团结、奋进”的校风，一九九五年制定了“争当一流教师，争做一流学生，争创一流学校”的奋斗目标。目前全校师生同心同德，坚持以“高起点、高要求、高质量”为原则，努力把巴马一中办成具有现代化特色的高完中一流学校而努力奋斗。
