An experimental model in which alkylating agent N methyl N′ nitro N nitroguanidine (MNNG) with low concentration was employed to induce genetic instability of a monkey kidney vero cell line, it was proved that there were changes in the patterns of protein tyrosine residue phosphorylation and the activation of stress activated kinase(JNK/SAPK).

从水中析出的硝基胍为无色针状或棱柱状结晶,在225-250℃分解(依据于加热速度)放出氨气。硝基胍溶于热水而微溶于冷水。100℃时1L水可溶解硝基胍82.5g;而25℃时只有4.4g。微溶于甲醇和乙醇,几乎不溶于乙醚。溶于浓酸。溶于冷碱溶液并缓慢分解。硝基胍为易爆品。
用途:硝基胍是极广的医药中间体,可用于制备呋喃胍等数十种药物。
