Based on lots of experiment results,several theoretical explanations for UWP effect have been proposed,such as cue-utilization model,retrieval-fluency hypothesis,and anchoring-and-adjustment acc.

According to the results of the present study, we draw conclusions as follows: (1) it needed enough time intervals between practice and test for the CI effect to occur; (2) there was no UWP effect in perceptual-motor learning; and (3) after blocked practices, the subjects predicted the test performance depending more on current practice performance which was a poor indicator of learning benefit.

AIM: To find out whether mental rotation test has some practice effect on pilots and to determine the least practice times needed to eliminate the practice effect of mental rotation test.

The results indicated that both a strong practice effect and an age effect were found in the visual feature retrieval process.
