   (水黄)   
   形态特征:寥科大黄属多年生中型草本植物，高40-80厘米。根状茎和根直而粗壮。茎单生，不分枝，粗壮，中空。基生叶4-6枚，茎生叶及叶状苞片多枚，下部叶卵形至卵状椭圆形，长9-14厘米，宽6.5-9厘米，顶端圆钝，基部近心形或圆形，全缘，具柄，上部叶和叶状苞片较小。6-7月开花，花序分枝腋生，常2-3枝成丛生，直立总状，花小绿色，数朵簇生，花梗具关节;花被片(4-)5-6，基部合生成杯状。果实菱状椭圆形，顶端微凹，基部楔形，翅极窄。9月叶和苞片变红色。 
   生境分布:生于海拔3000-4600米的高山草地。分布于西藏东部、四川西部和云南西北部。
