蜿蜒于苏、浙、皖3省边界上的一系列山地的总称。又名界岭。属天目山系。山地主体由分布在江苏省宜兴市和溧阳县南部的众多山丘组成，因名宜溧山地。一般海拔200～300米，主峰黄塔顶611米，为江苏省第2高峰，山体由泥盆系石英砂岩构成。燕山运动以来，断裂构造活动频繁。山岭、盆地相间排列。盆地喀斯特地貌发育，如宜兴善卷洞、慕蠡洞、灵谷洞和张公洞，均为著名旅游地。山间林木茂盛，毛竹遍布，山麓多茶园、栗树林，是江苏省毛竹、板栗和茶叶的主要产地。矿产有煤、铁、陶土、石灰岩、大埋石等。宜兴县南部龙池山地带性植被保存完好，已建立自然保护区。
