In order to investigate corrosion mechanism of carbon steel in molten zinc as well as effect of Si and C content in steel on zinc corrosion behavior,both microstructure and phase structure of zinc corrosion layer formed on the steel with different contents of Si and C in molten zinc were analyzed using SEM and EDS.
