马家窑金矿床是胶东地区比较典型的石英脉型金矿床代表,属中低温热液矿床,成矿流体盐度较低,气相成分以H2O,CO2为主,其次是Na+,Ca+和Cl-,K+和F-较贫,流体的成分与大气降水热液相类似。

万尾金滩
位于东兴市的京族三岛——万尾岛、巫头岛和山心岛，是我国大陆海岸线的最西南端，居民以京族为主。其中以万尾岛上的金滩最为著名，有10公里长的海滩，集沙细、浪平、坡缓、水暖于一身，无污染，海水清澈，是广西继北海银滩之后的又一滨海旅游热点。
交通：在防城港汽车站乘坐到东兴的巴士到东兴市，再乘东兴到万尾的班车到万尾金滩，15分钟即可到达。
住宿：可住在景区附近的金滩大酒店，也可以住在东兴市里，东兴的解放路附近有许多便宜的旅社，价格都在100元以下，适合背包客投宿。
餐饮：金滩附近的大排挡有很好吃的海鲜粥和京族炒米粉，随处有海蜇汤卖，有些游客第一次喝这种海蜇汤可能不太习惯，一定要慢慢品味才能体会个中妙处。
娱乐：夏季来这里的游客，可以欣赏京族渔家的唱哈、跳竹竿舞、弹独弦琴、拉大网、放虾灯等娱乐活动。
