性质:一种脱氧完全、浇注前向钢水中加入足够数量的强脱氧剂(如硅、铝等)而制成的钢。这种钢脱氧程度高,在凝固时不产生CO气体,钢水保持平静而不沸腾,故名镇静钢。镇静钢钢锭上部有集中的缩孔,锻、轧前要切去头部,故成材率较低,有时甚至低于50%,该种钢纯净度较高,成分偏析小,钢锭部位性能均匀,冲击韧性、冷冲压性能良好,可作为锻造、渗碳及热处理用钢,含碳量一般在0.25%以上的碳钢和合金钢几乎全是镇静钢,钢号后面不加符号。
