青岗寺位居和顺县城西 4公里的风台村东(古名扒头)，北倚凤凰山，南傍梁余河，为元代建筑的名胜古迹，榆和路东西贯穿，交通十分便利。这里风景秀丽，有“风台异形”之称，为和顺县十景之一。 1914年重修《和顺县志》载赞“风台异形”诗：“迭樟回峦漳水湄，崇冈一似凤来仪。风松乍作萧韶奏，露草还吟萋萋诗。天半朱霞增壮采，云扶旭日望中移。临邓旧有求凤操，西去长天不可思。”
