颗粒状焊接材料。在焊接时它能够熔化形成熔渣和气体﹐对熔池起保护和冶金作用。焊剂由大理石﹑石英﹑萤石等矿石和鈦白粉﹑纤维素等化学物质组成。焊剂主要用於埋弧焊和电渣焊。用以焊接各种钢材和有色金属时﹐必须与相应的焊丝合理配合使用﹐才能得到满意的焊缝。焊剂分为酸性﹑中性和硷性3种﹐按製造方法分为熔炼焊剂和非熔炼焊剂。熔炼焊剂是用各种矿石经电弧炉熔炼后粉碎而成。其中﹐酸性熔炼焊剂应用较多﹐它配以适当的焊丝﹐广泛用於碳钢和低合金结构钢的焊接。中性和硷性熔炼焊剂则用於强度较高的高强钢焊接。非熔炼焊剂製造简单﹐劳动卫生条件较好﹐质量容易控制﹐并可加入各种所需合金元素来改善焊缝金属组织和性能﹐因而得到较广泛的应用。非熔炼焊剂烘乾温度在 400℃以下的﹐称为黏结焊剂﹔烘乾温度在400~1000℃的﹐称为烧结焊剂﹐后者强度好﹐成品率高﹐应用较多。
