颗粒状焊接材料。在焊接时它能够熔化形成熔渣和气体,对熔池起保护和冶金作用。焊剂由大理石、石英、萤石等矿石和钛白粉、纤维素等化学物质组成。焊剂主要用于埋弧焊和电渣焊。用以焊接各种钢材和有色金属时,必须与相应的焊丝合理配合使用,才能得到满意的焊缝。焊剂分为酸性、中性和碱性3种,按制造方法分为熔炼焊剂和非熔炼焊剂。熔炼焊剂是用各种矿石经电弧炉熔炼后粉碎而成。其中,酸性熔炼焊剂应用较多,它配以适当的焊丝,广泛用于碳钢和低合金结构钢的焊接。中性和碱性熔炼焊剂则用于强度较高的高强钢焊接。非熔炼焊剂制造简单,劳动卫生条件较好,质量容易控制,并可加入各种所需合金元素来改善焊缝金属组织和性能,因而得到较广泛的应用。非熔炼焊剂烘干温度在 400℃以下的,称为粘结焊剂;烘干温度在400~1000℃的,称为烧结焊剂,后者强度好,成品率高,应用较多。
