性质:熔点230℃。用邻巯基苯甲酸与氯或硫酸酰氯反应制得。本试剂与烷基硫醇、芳基硫醇、杂环硫醇及巯基氨基酸等反应,生成不对称二硫化物(o-HOOCC6H4-SSR;R=烷基、芳基、杂环基及氨基酸基)。后者用硼氢化钠还原,可得到原来的硫醇。因而用于纯化、鉴别或保护硫醇。
