This paper analyses three different kinds of knowledge sources in MNCs pointing out that the efficiency of knowledge shifting from different sources in MNCs is different and the organizational mechanism needed is also different.

It analyzes the relationship among signs of source region,geographical signs and original place names,and points out that there is a vague-to-clear process in the understanding of the terms such as source region signs,geo- graphical signs and etc.
