性质:臭氧(O3)在大气中的含量通常很低,但在距离地面25km处有一臭氧层,浓度高达0.2μl/L。它是氧气吸收240nm以下短波长的太阳紫外线形成的。当波长约为300nm的紫外线照射臭氧时,它又转变为氧气(O2)。这一过程不断吸收紫外线,并消耗太阳辐射到地面能量的5%,并使地面上的生物免受紫外线的伤害。氯气、氮氧化物等可使臭氧加速分解,使臭氧层中臭氧的浓度降低。
