性质:C是L-抗坏血酸的差位(立体)异构体。从水中或二噁烷中析出的有光泽的颗粒晶体。169℃熔融并分解。易溶于水、乙醇和吡啶;溶于丙酮,微溶于甘油。其钠盐结晶体易溶于水,水溶液的pH5~6。工业级产品10%溶液之pH7.2~7.9。无毒。活性为L-抗坏血酸的十二分之一。具有很强的还原性能。以甲醇盐处理甲基-2-酮基-D-葡糖酸盐制得。用作食品的抗氧剂、锅炉水脱氧剂等。
