【危险级别调整】在费率测算时，运用大数法则的原理，采用长期、大量、平均的概念与方法，测求的是大量同类标的的平均损失率或危险发生率。但保险承保的标的与危险往往难于同时满足大量且同类的要求。而只能在大致同类的基础上优先满足大量的条件。对同类性的偏离，要求针对不同标的、不同危险的实际情况，开出在原测算费率上有所调整的费率。 根据危险程度高低而配合不同费率的级差费率，一方面符合权利义务对等的经营原则，是保证稳定经营的必要条件;另一方面，可以有差别地对待不同危险程度的标的，提醒并督促顾客采取相应对策，降低危险程度，获得较优费率开价。
