是从人体外部施加强磁场以了解人体内部原子核产生磁共振情况的技术。运用核磁共振技术的显微镜,可以在组织活动的情况下,测定人体细胞的水分、磷、氮、钠等的含量。利用它可以切取人体的一部分组织,了解有无癌细胞,癌细胞和正常细胞临界的状况,各种生物体质和药剂等化合物的增减及细胞的活动情况等。此外,核磁共振技术还可用于研究人工脏器和组织的适应性,混合不同材料的食品引起的味觉变化等许多方面的问题。
