| 博斯普鲁斯海峡 Bosporus Strait 位于小亚细亚半岛和巴尔干半岛之间，东连黑海，西通马尔马拉海，是黑海海峡的东段。海峡长约30千米，峡道狭窄弯曲。东北部最宽处3.7千米，中部最小宽度仅747米。水深27.5 ～124米。海峡两岸为坚硬的花岗岩和片麻岩，不易侵蚀，岸壁陡峭、水流湍急。海峡中海流呈不同方向的两层水流。上层水（厚度10～20米）从黑海流向马尔马拉海，下层水则由马尔马拉海流向黑海。
海峡穿过伊斯坦布尔，并于1973年建成了横跨海峡的博斯普鲁斯大桥，桥长1560米，气势雄伟，加强了欧亚两大陆的直接联系。 海峡是黑海沿岸国家船舰出入地中海的必经水道，地理位置十分重要。 |
