形态特征:董莱科董莱属多年生草本植物，高3-20厘米。根状茎纤细，具节。茎纤细，常具3节。叶肾形，少近圆形或阔卵形，边缘具浅齿或圆齿。5-6月开花，花1-3朵，生于茎上部叶腋;花梗细，花瓣淡黄色至黄色，长圆状倒卵形，具明显的褐色脉纹，侧瓣无须毛，下瓣连距长约1厘米，距短小，微超出萼基部。蒴果长圆状卵形，长4-7厘米，无毛。
生境分布:生于海拔800-4100米的草坡、林下、林缘、灌丛下。分布于我国西北、华北东北、华中和四川、云南。欧洲、中亚、西伯利亚、克什米尔地区、印度东北部、喜马拉雅山区朝鲜、日本、北美西部也有。
用途:全草药用，治跌打损伤。
