    常用的理气化痰药。为芸香科植物橘及其同属多种植物成熟果实的外果皮。橘类广泛栽培于中国长江以南各地,药材有广陈皮和陈皮两类。橘皮味苦、辛、性温。归肺、脾经。功能理气健脾、燥湿化痰。主治脾胃气滞、脘腹胀满、消化不良、呕吐呃逆、泄泻、痰湿壅盛、咳嗽痰多等症。现代药理实验证明,陈皮有促进消化液分泌、兴奋心脏、升压等作用。
