【来源】
为无患子科植物复羽叶栾树的根，根皮或花。
【植物形态】
复羽叶栾树 落叶乔木，高可达20米。树皮暗灰色；小枝灰色，有短柔毛并有皮孔密生。2回羽状复叶，对生，厚纸质，总叶轴圆筒形，密生绢状灰色短柔毛；小叶9～15，长椭圆状卵形，长4.5～7厘米，宽1.8～2.5厘米，先端短渐尖，基部圆形，边缘有不整齐的锯齿，下面主脉上有灰色绒毛；小叶柄短，长约2～3毫米。圆锥花序顶生，长约20厘米；花黄色。蒴果卵形，长约4厘米，宽3厘米，先端圆形，有突尖头，3瓣裂。种子圆形，黑色。 生山地疏林中。分布广东、广西、江西、湖南、浙江、湖北、四川、贵州、云南等地。

夏、秋采收。

微苦，辛。

疏风清热，止咳，杀虫。
