性质:又名玉米胚芽油。淡黄液体。有特殊气味。不溶于水,溶于醚、氯仿、醋酸戊酯、苯与二硫化碳;略溶于酒精。相对密度(15/15℃)0.914~0.928。熔点-10~-15℃。碘值103-128。闪点254℃。皂化值187~193。可燃。无毒。其主要成分为油酸和亚油酸的甘油三酸酯。由玉米胚芽(生产玉米淀粉的副产物)经过压榨或浸出提取的半干性油。一般玉米的胚芽得率为6.5%,玉米胚芽含油率为36%~37%。用于制食品、肥皂、润滑剂、皮革修饰、油膏、人造奶油、沙拉油、鬓油等。
