性质:就是先在零件上镀一层镍(12-15微米),然后在镍层上再镀一层镉(3-5微米),最后在335℃下进行1小时的扩散处理。形成镍镉金属间化合物的扩散层,熔点高,在500℃下具有良好的热稳定性,并具有良好的抗氧化性、耐热和耐蚀性。对基底材料抗应力腐蚀性能有很大提高,它适用于中温高强度钢、低合金钢和不锈钢的防护。对工作温度低于500℃的零件能提供良好的防护性能。过去这些零件采用镀镉防护,但隔层的使用温度只能在230℃以下,否则就不能起防护作用,并会引起一些材料的镉脆。改用镍镉扩散镀层,能满足防护要求。镍镉扩散镀层已应用于航空工业。
