电介质 dielectrics 主要以极化方式而不是以传导方式传递电的作用和影响的物质。绝缘体和导体是这两种方式的极端情形。在这两种极端情形之间属于半导体 。典型的半导体如碘硫化锑 (SbSI)、砷化镓(GaAs)、氧化锌(ZnO)、硫化镉(CdS)等也可归入特殊类型的电介质:极性电介质——压电半导体;在高频电场作用下,甚至金属薄层也可看成是高损耗的电介质(见电介质损耗)。此外温度足够高时,半导体和电介质却成为导体。因此,物质电学性质的这种分类是相对的,得随具体条件而定。 |
