   形态特征:禾本科大麦属越年生植物,高50-100厘米。秆光滑。叶鞘两侧有耳叶,叶片宽6-20毫米。穗状花序直立,长3-8厘米。每节生3枚结实小穗,颖线形,长8-14毫米,芒粗糙,长8-13厘米。颖果成熟后与稃体粘着不易脱粒,顶端具毛。
    生境分布:全国各地普遍栽培。
    用途:粮食作物之一。可制酒和麦芽糖。
