BEIJING, July 6 (Xinhuanet) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is continuing his 6-day visit in China, his first official visit overseas since taking office.
On Friday, Premier Li Keqiang met with Sharif. The Pakistani prime minister expressed his faith in an unmoved friendship between Pakistan and China. The two countries signed a series of agreements covering cooperation on politics, economy, technologies and strategic studies.
Trade between the two countries only exceeded 12 billion US dollars for the first time last year. And Sharif is hoping to attract greater Chinese investment to revive Pakistan’s economy.
