BEIJING, July 4 (Xinhuanet) -- A group of supporters for deposed Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has reacted angrily to the military’s announcement that it has suspended the constitution and appointed a new, interim head of state.
Some dug up pavement stones and formed piles of rocks. Others wept and chanted, denouncing military chief General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Muslim Brotherhood security guards have now formed a barrier around the pro-Morsi encampment, close to a mosque in a Cairo suburb.
