The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Siyabonga Cyprian Cwele, South African ambassador to China, told China Daily that "We really wish you that you can succeed in this effort, because we know that when China goes up, we all go up," he said. "Happy birthday," he added.
