BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhuanet) -- The East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers Meeting and the 20th ASEAN Regional Forum have come to an end in Brunei.
China’s foreign minister Wang Yi, who attended the three-day meetings, said the current focus in the Asia-Pacific region is stability, cooperation and development. He adds that China plays a positive role in promoting security and stability in the region.
The foreign minister announced China would co-host with other nations a large scale emergency response drill, and that projects on peace-keeping and maritime security would be launched next year.
