BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Twin suicide car bombs have ripped through a Damascus suburb, killing at least 34 people and injuring 83.
The state news agency, SANA, said suicide bombers detonated two cars packed with explosives... minutes apart early Wednesday morning. The blasts took place in the eastern suburb of Jara-mana, a Christian and Druse area known as mostly loyal to President Bashar Assad.
The bombs were detonated in a parking lot near a cluster of commercial buildings as people were arriving for work. There was no immediate claim of responsibility. But such attacks have become a trademark of radical Muslim groups fighting alongside other rebels units.
