Turkish police have identified the man believed to be responsible for opening fire inside a popular Istanbul nightclub on New Year's Eve. Authorities said Abdulkadir Masharipov arrived in Istanbul from the central Turkish province of Konya on December 15, with a premeditated plan to stage a terrorist attack. According to police, an ISIL cell based in Konya provided logistical support for the attack.
