Beijing Guoan are preparing for their group F clash against Central Coast Mariners, to take place later. The Capital club drew both previous matches on the continental stage, and are without a couple of high profile names because of injury and suspension ahead of their meeting against the Australian team. Head coach Gregorio Manzano confirmed the Chinese Super League side will be without several key players who started against FC Seoul last week. Ecuadorian Joffre Guerron is still missing also out will be defenders Zhou Ting and Lang Zheng. On top of that goalkeeper Yang Zhi is suspended after the Chinese international was sent off in the 1-1 draw with the Koreans. While Beijing are short of players, Mariners are boosted by the return of Dutch veteran Marcel Seip and have made the trip to China following Saturday’s 3-1 home victory over Newcastle Jets in the A-League. The Aussies, with one win and one loss in the group stage so far this campaign, are one point behind leaders Seoul and one above Beijing. "So you know, it’s going to be a tough test for us tomorrow night, but we are in a good place. We are sitting in a good position in our league back home, so confidence is high, but we know the AFC Champions League is a different style of football to the A-League. We are looking forward to the challenge, the boys have trained well today and everyone has recovered from the travel, so we are very much looking forward to the game tomorrow night," said Phil Moss, Central Coast Mariners coach. "Our defence will face a serious challenge because our key players are missing the match. Our captain, Xu Yunlong, was sick, while Lang Zheng is injured as well. Zhou Ting is suspended after picking up a red card. As for Zhang Xinxin, we need to assess his fitness before the match tomorrow. This is a big problem for us, which we are trying to overcome. We are prepared for tomorrow’s match under these conditions," said Gregorio Manzano, Beijing Guoan coach. Guizhou Renhe are also in action they travel to Ulsan Hyndai from south korea so group F and group H are the focus later. The third game of six for each of the teams. The action begins in Australia with Western Sydney wanderers meeting Kawasaki Frontale. Kick off is in about forty five minutes. The other match in beijing;s group is Sanfrecce Hiroshima versus FC Seoul.
