BEIJING, Nov. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Geneva, as talks on Iran continue.

The two sides discussed the latest development and challenges of the talks. They agreed that all relevant parties should spare no efforts to reach a diplomatic solution. They were later joined by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

Wang Yi has also held bilateral meetings with British Foreign Secretary William Hague and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius. Wang Yi pointed out the talks have reached a critical stage, and that all sides should pull together in the same direction to break the deadlock and reach a deal. Wang and Hague also discussed relations between China and the UK, and agreed to cooperate more in business and trade, technology and education.
