NEW YORK, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- Ellis Island and the Immigration Museum reopened to the public on Monday for the first time since Hurricane Sandy submerged the island a year ago.
"We are delighted to be able to share Ellis Island's uniquely American story with the world once more," said David Luchsinger, the superintendent for Ellis and the neighboring Statue of Liberty. Full story
