BEIJING, Oct. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- During Autumn, if you ask people in Beijing what their weekend plans are, many will say they are going to see the changing leaves at Fragrant Hill, located just west of the capital. But while the fall scenery is spectacular, visitors may have trouble finding any peace and solitude there.
On Saturday, over 100,000 tourists visited Fragrant Hill. To deal with the massive crowd, Beijing’s traffic management department implemented road control measures around the park.
Nearly 100 bus routes were also adjusted to meet the increased demand, including an increased number of buses, added temporary routes and a shuttle between Fragrant Hill and nearby subway stations.
