BEIJING, Sept. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- According to Egyptian state television, deposed President Mohamed Morsi is to stand trial on charges of committing and inciting violence.
The move comes after the country’s public prosecutor referred Morsi and 14 other Muslim Brotherhood members to a Cairo criminal court. He is accused of having a hand in the deaths of protesters who died in deadly street clashes with his supporters in July.
