BEIJING, Aug. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- The Syrian Arab News Agency says at least 5 people have been killed and 20 injured in a blast in Syria’s capital, Damascus.
The news agency says a rocket hit the Burj al-Rous district on Saturday, causing widespread damage. TV footage also shows pictures of fire engines and firefighters extinguishing burning cars. The area of the explosion is surrounded by shops and homes.
